About us
Every August, the same thing happens in Catholic-school households across the country: a parent opens the uniform handbook, reads "black leather dress shoes, non-marking soles," and wonders what on earth actually counts. One wrong buy means a return, a second trip, and a kid with nothing to wear on the first day.
We built Catholic School Shoes to end that scramble. Instead of another generic kids'-shoe site optimized for cute photos, we optimize for one thing: helping you find shoes that fit the dress code and your child, fast.
How we label shoes
We read the way real handbooks are worded and translate it into plain guidance. Every shoe gets one of three labels:
- Approved Style — matches the most common dress-code requirements.
- Likely Approved — fits typical rules, but confirm a detail or two.
- Check School Policy — depends on your specific handbook.
These labels are our honest interpretation, not official school approval. School policies vary and change, so we always show the reasoning and encourage you to verify against your handbook before buying.
How we make money
